“Rock ’n' roll”. Those weren’t the exact words in Spendrup’s brief when commissioning us to update the packaging design of their ever-popular lager Premium Gold. But rock ’n’ roll is undoubtedly what happened. Think Sandy’s transformation in Grease. Out with the old gold and careful typeface — in with the raven black, the boosted race track effect and bold word mark; it’s electrifying! With respect to loyal as well as new consumers, we hope the appeal of being Back in Black is as wide as the Highway to Hell. A toast to the dark side!
